Hamas, the Islamist organization that rules Gaza, said on Thursday that it welcomed the EU's decision to approve new labeling guidelines for products that originate from areas captured by Israel in the 1967 Six Day War.
Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri, said that the decision is a step in the right direction, adding that the group "hopes that the decision would be comprehensive and include all products and services exported by the occupation, and not confined to settlement products."
