Hamas fires 11,000 rockets towards Israel

ALBAWABA - Hamas military wing has fired approximately 11,000 rockets from Gaza towards Israel since the beginning of the war, Al Jazeera reported citing the Israeli army.

Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Oct. 7 the Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel by firing rockets towards Tel Aviv. 

Furthermore, Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases and took over 200 hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.

In response to the Al-Aqsa Flood operation by Hamas, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Aggressive attacks and airstrikes were carried out by the Israeli forces since October leading to the death of over 15,500 Palestinians in Gaza; over 6,000 of them are children. 

over 41,000 others were injured in the Israeli bombardment of Gaza.

Moreover, the Israeli airstrikes continuous after the end of a 7-day truce reached by Hamas and Israel after the mediation of Qatar and Egypt in which both agreed to exchange hostages.
