The Department of Cultural Centers at the Greater Amman Municipality keeps organizing the special evenings during the Holy Month of Ramadan, as part of its policy to enhance the cultural and artistic movements in the Capital.

The Ramadan evenings are being held under the patronage of Deputy City Director for Cultural, Social and Sports Affairs, Engineer Haytham Jwainat, at Rainbow Street, and Al-Wakalat Street.

Local and Arab troupes are taking part in this year's Ramadan evenings, during which citizens gather and watch recitals of religious stanzas. Among the participating troupes are Jordan's "Al-Turmuthey" and Syria's "Al-Eman."

Other evening activities in Ramadan include musical performances by the "Jazz Mosaic" Band which presents melodic pieces that easily integrate eastern and western music styles.
