Global conducts a Workshop for GUST Students
New Workshop Entitled ‘Fundamentals of Good Investments’ is an indispensable tool for the Youth Community
Global Investment House "Global" conducted a 3 days workshop for Gulf University students entitled “Fundamentals of Good Investments for Youth,” in cooperation with the university and organized by the Youth Economic Society at the premises of the Kuwait Economic Society.
Ms. Ruba O. Khairi, Team Manager - Client Relationship Department at Global and Ms. Hanan Al-Shaya, Assistant Manager - Asset Management - GCC Investment at Global, both presented the main issues for a proper investment and identified the various investment tools for managing an investment portfolio. 
The instructors covered lot of topics during the 3 days workshop. They presented the KSE’s history, the market indices table, the different types of investors and asset classes; why investing through an investment company, how to select the appropriate stocks within the portfolio and the different existing fund types.
To elaborate on their discussion, they also presented the model funds portfolio and gave some examples of Global’s local and regional funds.
The Kuwait Economic Society and the Youth Economic Society appreciated Global’s effort in educating the youth and thanked the instructors for their dedication to successfully deliver and present the important investment tools to improve the youth community’s skills in business fields. 
The Youth Economic Society aims to educate and strengthen the community, promote the youth to join the private sector and self business, develop the skills of young people in economic and financial matters within the organizing committee that consists of Mr. Abdullah Al-Anbaee, Ms. May Ahmed Al-Ibrahim, Mr.Rashed Al-Qaith, and Mr. Faisal Al-Jaber.

It is worth mentioning that Global has supported many educational and social events such as training courses, investment seminars, charity concert, students’ lounges at Kuwait University, regional field trips for American University students, and summer internships in the company.
