Getting Connected for Free in Kerak, Ma’an and Tafilah - Orange Launches a new Offer on Fixed Line

Orange, the sole integrated telecom operator in the Kingdom, has launched a major nitiative granting residents of Kerak, Ma’an and Tafilah governorates unlimited free minutes for local and national calls on the fixed line.

This announcement was made during a press meeting held on Wednesday, August 6, at Jordan Telecom Group (JTG) headquarters that was headed by JTG CEO Mr. Mickael Ghossein and the Executive Vice President Mr. Francois De Loynes Mr. Iyas Qubaia Marketing Manager for the Fixed.

Commenting on this unique step, Ghossein said: “The launch of this unprecedented initiative in the Kingdom is part of a bundle of offers Orange especially designed for summer season. Some of these offers were launched in the Jordanian market and we still have many surprises to come, covering Jordan Telecom Group’s services from fixed, mobile and Internet”.

Ghossein pointed out that Orange has decided to provide people residing in Kerak, Ma’an and Tafilah this offer for free due to the significant role of the fixed line in bringing people together as this service is one of the highly used methods in communications, besides the importance this service is still witnessing.

Ghossein added that this offer highlights the Group’s focus on serving the twelve governorates of the Kingdom, each according to its needs.

Qubaia also added that Orange has an integrated team of employees who work on studying the needs and requirements of the market to fulfill them according to the financial ability of the Jordanian citizens. “This offer comes within a series of offers that Orange has recently launched especially for the fixed line for the governorates, allowing them to talk unlimited on local and national calls for a fixed monthly fee of 5 JDs. The Group’s initiative in introducing such offer stems from its belief in the right of the different segments of the society to benefit from various telecom services with the fixed line in particular,” he added.

In addition to the launch of this stimulating offer that will be of huge benefit to the targeted governorates, JTG is planning to introduce a number of various offers for the fixed line service up until the end of this year.
