Palestinian health minister Riyadh Zanoun said Saturday that Germany has agreed to treat 50 Palestinian children injured during clashes with Israeli troops in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in its hospitals, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Zanoun said that a German medical team arrived in Gaza Friday to discuss with ministry officials arrangements for transferring the injured to Germany.
The deadly clashes between Palestinian demonstrators claimed the lives of more than 170, and left more than 4000 injured, most of whom had serious injuries.
Many of the injured were hospitalized in Arab countries, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait – Albawaba.com
