The German University of Cairo will open its doors to students next year, the daily Al Ahram said.
The university, which will provide its tuition in English, German and Arabic aims at qualifying its future graduates in scarce specialties of modern science and professional knowledge. This includes IT and Media Technology and Management in addition to higher studies.
The university will focus in the second phase on Biotechnology, Pharmacy and Material science including glass, ceramic, rubber, alloys, production engineering, business administration and manufacturing technology.
Education at the German University of Cairo will be based on the curricula of the German universities, which will participate in sponsoring its educational process in addition to accrediting the degrees it offers in future -- Albawaba.com
