The Kingdom of Bahrain is hosting the 39th meeting of Committee of Governors of Central Banks and Monetary Authorities in the GCC.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, 14th September 2005.
The meeting will be attended by all GCC Governors, as well as the GCC Assistant Secretary General for Economic Affairs.
The meeting will review reports from several technical committees, including those related to the GCC monetary union; payment system; and supervision of banks. Discussions will also include matters related to money laundering issues, in addition to the findings of the 7th Banking Conference and the latest monetary and financial developments in the GCC region.
The meeting will be held at the Sheraton Hotel.
