Fujitsu Siemens Computers has beaten its competition to clinch the number one position for desktop sales in Egypt during Q307. The leading European IT manufacturer has experienced exponential year on year (YoY) growth of 472* per cent during Q307 compared to Q306, capturing 11* per cent of Egypt’s desktop market share, while the market grew 6* per cent.
According to IDC preliminary figures for the third calendar quarter 2007, Fujitsu Siemens Computers outperformed the market to achieve above-average growth for its desktops and notebooks. The company captured 21 per cent of the market in the notebook segment with a YoY growth of a staggering 683* per cent, and an overall 15* per cent in the desktop and notebook market and YoY growth of 583* per cent.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers has grown 45 per cent in MEA and has been ranked among the regions top desktop and notebook vendors by IDC for Q307.
