The Quick Group has recently announced the signing of a franchise agreement with Algeria. Jean-Paul Brayer, managing director of the Quick Group said "we are first in the country so it should give us a cutting edge in the sector." As part of their long-term plans, Quick Group wants to open 20 restaurants in Algeria. Liberte Algeria reports that apart from Quick Group, Algeria with a vast market of 33 million consumers, has attracted other French companies into the country. One of these French companies is the cosmetics giant Yves Rocher, which has 11 stores in different parts of Algeria.
