Frankfinn gives aviation careers a flying start

Frankfinn Institute, which is among the leading institutes for air hostess training worldwide, has announced that it will be offering exclusive scholarships of up to AED10,000 for select candidates through the month of June 2010. The air-hostess training institute is offering this special scholarship as part of its thirteenth anniversary celebrations.

Commenting on the scholarship, Mr. K. S. Kohli, Chairman, Frankfinn Institute, said, "A career in the aviation industry has always been sought after by aspiring youth all around the world. At Frankfinn, we take pride in giving the opportunity to many deserving individuals to pursue this career option. However, these candidates may sometimes face financial difficulties when pursuing a career in aviation. As such, it gives us great pleasure on our thirteenth anniversary to celebrate by offering this exclusive scholarship to such deserving candidates."

This is the first time that Frankfinn Institute is offering a scholarship for its programmes. This scholarship will be offered to candidates aged 18 to 24. Candidates need to be holding an A level / 12th standard certification or any other equivalent qualification to be eligible for the Frankfinn courses.

Frankfinn offers a BTEC (HNC) in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel Management awarded by Edexcel, United Kingdom, a Pearson Group company, and one of the largest vocational qualification awarding bodies in the world and recognized in over 110 countries. It is a year-long course in self development, introduction to aviation, air travel industry, air-travel reservation and ticketing, hotel management and CSR training. Students have the option of pursuing a Higher National Degree (HND) in Hospitality where they also get six months internship. Among the new courses introduced by Frankfinn are First impression training and Corpexcel training.
