Stray bullets from Syria have struck police headquarters and homes in the Turkish border town of Ceylanpinar, it was announced Wednesday by the Turkish military.

As a result Turkish troops returned fire, the military said.

Previously in the same town an adult and 15 year-old-boy were killed on the border, security and health officials told Reuters.
