ALBAWABA - Melisa Döngel remains under scrutiny as authorities review new evidence.
Turkish actress Melisa Döngel has become one of the most talked-about names in a major investigation that continues to attract widespread attention in Turkey.
According to Turkish media reports, investigators examined digital materials allegedly obtained from a mobile phone linked to the actress as part of an ongoing probe coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Authorities reportedly reviewed message records, social media content, photographs, and other digital data after receiving the necessary judicial authorization.

The investigation gained further attention after reports claimed that some of the messages found on the device were included in the official case file. Investigators allegedly identified conversations related to the procurement of prohibited substances, according to Turkish media outlets. These communications are reportedly being evaluated as part of the wider inquiry.
Reports also stated that investigators examined photographs and screenshots stored in the device's gallery. Media accounts indicate that authorities assessed some of the materials as potentially related to substance possession or use. Officials have not publicly released detailed forensic findings, and examinations are continuing.
Several Turkish media outlets reported that authorities reviewed official documents containing toxicology findings related to the investigation. However, prosecutors have not announced any final judicial conclusion regarding the allegations, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Following the review of digital evidence gathered during the probe, authorities launched a large-scale operation targeting suspects allegedly involved in online narcotics trafficking.
The operation was coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and carried out by teams from the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command together with intelligence units. Investigators focused on individuals suspected of conducting illegal sales through Telegram and other social media platforms.
According to reports, prosecutors issued detention orders for 50 suspects. Simultaneous operations were carried out in Istanbul and Sakarya. Authorities detained 43 suspects, while efforts to locate the remaining individuals continued.
Officials alleged that members of the network used encrypted messaging applications and social media accounts to facilitate the sale and distribution of prohibited substances. During the raids, authorities reportedly seized cash, firearms, ammunition, suspected narcotics, mobile phones, computers, and other digital materials.
Experts are still analyzing a large volume of digital evidence contained in the investigation file. Authorities continue to examine statements, forensic findings, communication records, and electronic data obtained during the operation.
At this stage, no final court ruling has been issued regarding the allegations mentioned in the investigation file. Prosecutors are continuing their work as new evidence is reviewed.
As the case develops, both the Turkish entertainment industry and the wider public are closely following new updates from the authorities.
