ALBAWABA - An Airbus passenger plane caught fire in South Korea leaving three people injured, CNN reported on Tuesday citing local fire authorities.
A blaze erupted on Tuesday inside a South Korean carrier Air Busan plane, carrying 169 passengers and seven crew members, at Gimhae International Airport moments before taking off.
The plane, which was about to leave for Hong Kong, was evacuated and authorities revealed that three suffered minor injuries due to the fire that broke out at the Air Busan plane.
South Korea's fire emergency was notified and quickly responded to the emergency. The blaze erupted just before 10:30 p.m. South Korea’s Yonhap news agency confirmed the fire started from the plane’s tail.
CNN said citing Aviation Safety Network that the Air Busan plane is an Airbus A321ceo model with tail number HL7763.
