ALBAWABA - A horrifying video was shared on social media of an F-35 fighter jet falling and hitting the ground at Alaska Eielson Air Force Base, in the United States on Tuesday.
According to American media, the Air Force pilot miraculously survived the crash that occurred during a training exercise at a base in Alaska.
The American was in trouble after facing an “inflight malfunction”. However, he safely left the F-35 fighter jet before it crashed, Col. Paul Townsend, commander of the 354th Fighter Wing, told a news conference.
Footage was posted on the X platform, owned by Elon Musk, showing the F-35 jet plunging to Earth while the pilot was seen flying using a parashot next to the fighter plane when it rapidly fell and hit the ground causing a ball of fire and heavy smoke.
