More than 60 million kinds of weapons are possessed by Yemenis, according to the latest statistics, cited by the weekly Yemen Times newspaper on Monday.
The parliament had previously issued a law to curb possession and carrying of arms inside the major cities, but it has not been implemented, said the paper.
