One of the key aspects of Modhesh Friends’ Club is teaching its members values and etiquettes. Cartoon movies about etiquettes and other such innovative media are used to convey the message to the children. Tarekh Alishmeri, who is a renowned teacher in this discipline, will take the children through a four week schedule to impart important etiquettes and highlight elements of social interaction. The first week will be focused on teaching children to take care of themselves and will include cleanliness of self and home, politeness, table manners, besides etiquettes of communicating with parents and teachers. The focus shifts to social etiquettes in the second week where children will be taught on social interaction, especially when they are at malls or visiting friends and families. The third week takes the social etiquette lessons to the next step where children learn entertainment etiquettes such as going to the park, cinemas, etc. The final week will teach the children to be the perfect hosts and include important details like inviting people cordially, making guests feel good, and mingling with guests. The club activities are conducted at Modhesh World from 10 am to 4 pm on weekdays. The club has no formal activities on the weekends. However, members are welcome to enjoy free entrance to Modhesh World. H. B. Leisure, DWTC, Coco-Cola, Magic Planet, Emirates, Masafi and Union Co-operative are the sponsors of Modhesh World. Modhesh World doors are open from 10.00am to 10:00pm (Saturday to Wednesday), 10:00am to midnight (Thursdays), and 3:00pm to midnight on Fridays. Tickets to the venue are priced at AED 10 for adults and AED 15 for children with numerous free zones and exciting activities.
