Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi warned that Eritrea could try to sabotage oil deliveries by truck from Sudan to his country, in an interview published in Cairo Tuesday.
"We do not exclude the possibility that Eritrean President Issaias Afeworki is attempting, directly or indirectly, to undermine good relations between Sudan and Ethiopia through acts of sabotage," he told Al-Hayat.
"But we can guarantee security on the route between our territory and we are sure Sudan can provide protection on its side," Zenawi said, when asked about the oil deliveries by tanker trucks. (Albawaba.com)
