For the 15th year running, Al Diar Gulf Hotel and Resort, part of Abu Dhabi National Hotel group will celebrate a festival of Bavarian food and culture, Oktoberfest.
Visitors to this year’s event can indulge themselves in over one tonne of real Bavarian cuisine and an assortment of ten special German beverages imported especially for the occasion.
The festival will kick off on November 10, 2005 from 8pm at the beautiful Zomorroda Pavilion; the garden terrace will be converted into an authentic Bavarian paradise.
Visitors can soak in the surroundings whilst enjoying a range of Bavarian entertainment including yodelling and alpine-horns. To make the evening extra special the 15 piece Alpenklang band has been flown in for the occasion once again.
The Alpenklang band have been appearing at Al Diar Gulf Hotel’s Oktoberfest from its very beginnings, performing a magnificent set of traditional Bavarian music and folk dance.

This will be one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations at a hotel outside of Munich. Last year, almost 1500 hungry visitors enjoyed the taste of authentic Bavarian cuisine. Reservations are now open and tickets are priced at AED 145/- nett per person. Entrance includes, a sumptuous buffet dinner and, of course, authentic Bavarian entertainment.
