Emarat's DSS Promotion a major hit with customers

The campaign which was launched by Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" under the title "A RICHER LIFE COULD BE YOURS FOR AED 25 " at the beginning of Dubai Summer Surprises 2009 has been a major hit and is attracting an astonishing number of customers thanks to great prizes on offer which are worth more than half a million Dirhams. Emarat is a key sponsor of this year’s DSS.

The Grand Prize includes a Chevrolet Corvette, AED 100,000 in cash, gift vouchers, travel tickets, free fuel and more, in addition to the daily draw for AED 3000 pre-loaded on the Em-cash card.

Dr. Rahma bin Mohammed Al Shamsi, Retail Sales Manager at Emarat, said “that the Corporation's commitment in sponsoring this event which established its success and distinctions since its first year and which became a well known event throughout the UAE, is in accordance with Emarat's endeavor to adopt and support various activities nation wide, as well as acting upon its social responsibility which is one of the core values in the Corporation's identity.

Dr. Rahma further added "We are proud of our social role and participation in this unique event which reflects our belief and dedication in enhancing the national economy and encouraging social development."

Furthermore, Dr. Rahma expressed his optimism that Emarat's participation during this year's event will further enrich the event and add to its surprises a real value, as it plans to launch a number of initiatives and promotional campaigns which will give its customers opportunities to win a lot of valuable prizes when they shop at Emarat service stations in Dubai and Northern Emirates.

The new promotional campaign will give the chance to anyone who spends AED 25 for a non-fuel purchase at any Emarat service station to enter the draw for the daily prize of an Em-Cash card worth AED 3000. That’s not all as one lucky winner will receive a dream grand prizes when the final draw is conducted on the 14th of  August 2009, which includes a Chevrolet Corvette, AED 100,000 Cash, AED 25,000 vouchers to spend at Dubai Festival City, AED 25,000 vouchers for home furnishing,  AED 20,000 vouchers for electronics, AED 10,000 worth of fuel, AED 20,000 vouchers for gold jewellery, AED 10,000 worth recharge cards from “du”, AED 10,000 worth of Auto-care services and AED 15,000 airline travel vouchers.

Dr. Rahma also said “that Emarat had recorded a healthy increase in its sales during Dubai Summer Surprises 2008. This increase was achieved through unique promotions and valuable prizes which were offered to our customers and firmly believed that this years campaign will be equally successful”

He also praised the efforts of the retail sales team at Emarat which had prepared and organized the different stages of the campaign, stressing on the execution of the campaign plan in the service stations which was carried out through a perfect approach which complies with the Corporation's aims and goals of sponsoring this great event.
