Egypt's President to visit Morocco

Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, is expected to visit Morocco Monday for an official three-day visit at the invitation of King Mohammed VI, it was officially announced in Rabat Saturday.  

 

The Egyptian leader who will be accompanied by his wife during the visit is expected to meet the King who will offer a dinner in honor of the Egyptian president and his spouse.  

 

Since his enthronement back in 1999, King Mohammed VI has traveled three times to Egypt - in April 2000, the sovereign participated in the Euro-Africa summit in Cairo, in May 2000, the King co-chaired with the Egyptian head of state the 4th session of the joint high commission and in October 2000, the King paid an official visit to Egypt, following the Arab extraordinary summit. 

 

Egyptian president's latest visit dates back to June 1999 when he attended at the invitation of the late King Hassan II the 3rd session of the high joint commission, according to MAP news agency.  

 

In addition, he took part in June 1999 the funerals of the late sovereign. (Albawaba.com)
