Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq al-Hariri met with Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak, after arriving in Cairo on Sunday for a short visit to Egypt. The two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region, especially the occupied Palestinian territories and ways of supporting the Arab stance.

The meeting dealt with the deteriorating situation in Palestine, in wake of the ongoing Israeli penetration of Palestinian territories and the efforts aimed at stopping it, according to KUNA news agency.

Al-Hariri met with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Saturday in the Saudi port city of Jeddah, to review the latest developments in the Middle East region. Topping those developments was the Palestinian issue, in addition to developments on the Arab, Islamic and international levels.

During his visit to Saudi Arabia, al-Hariri met with second deputy premier, minister of defense, prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, to discuss developments on the Arab and international levels, as well as bilateral relations. (Albawaba.com)
