Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher will arrive in Washington on Tuesday for talks with senior US officials on the latest developments following the September 11 terrorist attacks on the US, reported Al Gomhouriya newspaper.
Maher is now accompanying Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in France, and will head to Washington from Rome on the final stage of the trip.
Mubarak started a European trip in Paris Sunday, where he began trying to coordinate Arab and European positions in the wake of calls from Washington to form a global coalition to fight international terrorism – Albawaba.com
