Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher stated his country has been contacting the world's most important states in order to coordinate over a draft resolution, submitted by the Arab bloc for the U.N. Security Council regarding the escalation in the Palestinian occupied territories. According to Maher, the draft resolution is calling for immediate halt of all tragic developments in the Palestinian territories in an effort to help the Palestinians and thus return to the negotiations table.
