The Egyptian Democratic Front on Monday called all the popular and national forces to participate tomorrow in a "national salvation" protest, which is scheduled to be launched from Tahrir Square in conjunction with other mass protests in other Egyptian cities.

The party said in a statement that the goal of the mass protests is to emphasize the people's demands, which include the immediate removal of Essam Sharaf Government and forming a national salvation government with full powers to control the remainder of the transition period. This government will be transferred all the political powers by the military junta, in addition to setting a date for presidential elections no later than April 2012

Meanwhile, Egyptian activists called through Facebook and Twitter to hold a mass demonstration on Tuesday in order to overthrow the ruling junta and the appointment of a civilian presidential council.

The Prime Minister held a morning meeting with his ministers to discuss the repercussions of the events in Tahrir Square and other provinces.
