eCompany, Etisalat’s one-stop e-powerhouse Business Unit that provides Internet services and ICT solutions today announced its support for promoting the 5th Islamic Scientific Conference with several initiatives aimed at the public who would like to follow the proceedings online. The seminar which is organised by Al-Muntada Al-Islami- Government of Sharjah will run from July 2nd to July 14th 2005 with the event being supported on eCompany’s albahhar portal at www.albahhar.ae/islam
In addition to a high-speed connection, a live video stream will allow members of the public to access the seminar’s proceedings and experience the speeches first hand. A specific web site will also be hosted and promoted on the Albahhar.ae portal to provide background information and further reading on the topic of the Islamic religion.

The high-speed connection at the event will be provided via BusinessOne broadband Internet package thereby facilitating video streaming. Additionally, an archive has also been designed to allow users to access video footage at a later stage. eCompany has been involved with steaming of proceedings at the three previous seminars and has arranged for archived material from the previous seminars on the Albahhar website.
When combined with the Islamic Scientific Conference’s home page, more people will have access to vastly more information on the Islamic faith covered at the event. A permanent directional tool will be included on the Albahhar.com home page that will direct users to the home page of the Islamic Scientific page.
