dubai customs opens the renovated e-clearance center and list 3 customs bills in the e-clearance service
E-clearance services at Dubai Customs aiming at minimizing the size of work and time for clients and employees in the most updated clearance center
Mr. Ahmed Butti Ahmed, Director General of Dubai Customs today opened the new E-Clearance Customs Center at Dubai Customs Headquarter. Built with the highest technology standards and run with the most efficient and skillful employees, The E-Clearance Center is the most modernized customs center in the region.
Mr. Ahmed Butti praised the role of E-Clearance Customs Center in facilitating the clients’ transactions, as the new center allows processing the transactions in higher speed and offers more reliable services, resulting in more energetic trade interchange in Dubai. “Dubai Customs is moving forward on the development way, as part of its vision to sustain the economic development in Dubai,” Mr. Butti added.
In the meantime, Dubai Customs announced it has listed three new customs bills in the electronic clearance service. This significant step will allow Dubai Customs clients to clear three new bills electronically, including transit bills, Dubai Healthcare City bills, and Dubai International Financial Centre bills.
Omar Al Muhairi, E-Clearance Customs Center manager, pointed out that the center is targeting excellence in serving its clients and moving forward in the efforts to register all customs bills in the E-clearance service.
Al Muhairi added: “Our clients come in the first priority as we work to offer them the highest levels of peace of mind. Dubai Customs clients now can clear more kinds of customs bills electronically from the comfort of their offices and homes, as far as they are registered clients in the E-clearance service.”
E-clearance services at Dubai Customs are aiming at minimizing the size of work and saving time for both the clients and the employees, while the numbers of registered clients is constantly increasing. Dubai Customs’ E-Clearance Center now has 1,500 registered clients.
