Dubai Civil Defense launched Monday its website on the internet to serve the people of Dubai including 70 companies which will benefit from the service.
Director, Col Ali Al Sayyed, launched the website during a press conference held at the Civil Defense building, said the Gulf News.
The website will help cut red tape as well as transaction time and procedures by offering e-services to companies logged in to Dubai Civil Defense’s prevention and safety program, according to the Dubai-based paper.
Col Al Sayyed said the site is part of e-government moves launched by Gen. Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Minister of Defense, to use the latest available technology to offer clients better services.
We took into consideration while designing this website to ensure ease of access and navigation as well as the availability of all relevant information about our services to the general public, said Sayyed in a statement published on the newly launched website.
"Given the speed at which information is now available we don't mind if engineering consultancy companies draw up their own criteria for security, in coordination with Dubai Civil Defense," he said – Albawaba.com
