Rocker Scott Weiland is celebrating a year of being clean from
heroin by preparing for the birth of his first child.
The Stone Temple Pilots front man was about to go into jail for abusing drugs a year ago and he admits his circumstances have
drastically changed and his life is so much better.
He says, "I'm going to birthing classes and getting the house
together. A year ago, I'd never have thought this would be
happening."
And he admits he's enjoying life so much better without heroin.
He adds, "I would collapse after a show, now I'm able to wake up
the next day full of energy. When you're touring as a heroin
addict, you're always thinking about when you're going to get your
next shipment; you have to think about where to cop in each town
so you don't get sick” – Wenn.
