Drone attack sparks fires and injuries in Safed, Israel

ALBAWABA- Israeli medical sources have reported five minor injuries following a fire caused by a drone crash in Safed. According to Israeli media, around 6 p.m., five injured individuals were brought to Ziv Hospital in Safed due to the fire that erupted after the drone fell in the northern region.

An army spokesman detailed the timeline of events, stating that at 3:30 p.m., sirens were activated after two drones were detected entering the northern Golan from Lebanon. A fire ignited when one of the drones crashed in the Sa’al area. 

Multiple interceptor missiles were launched at the drones, but the interception attempts failed, leading to a fire in the Safed area. Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, and an investigation is underway.

Additionally, Hezbollah's resistance forces announced an air attack using a squadron of assault drones on the leadership headquarters of the Israeli 210th Sha’al Golan Division.

Israeli media reported that six firefighting teams are working to control several fires that have broken out in the Golan region due to the incident.
