Drone attack kills 5 Syrian Democratic Forces fighters

ALBAWABA - Rami Abdel Rahman, the head of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said that five Syrian Democratic Forces fighters have been killed in a drone attack on a U.S. army base in eastern Syria. 

"Five members from SDF special forces were killed and around 20 wounded by a drone attack after midnight on Al-Omar oil field. the largest US-led coalition base in Syria" Abdel Rahman stated. 

Abdel Rahman said the attack hit an SDF section inside Al-Omar oil field. the base, in "the first attack by pro-Iran groups against American bases after the US strikes on Syria and Iraq" late last week.
