Dnata Travel Services, the region’s largest provider of travel management services, received a strong and positive response at this week’s Business Travel Show hosted at the Madinat Arena on 29 and 30 October 2007.
Aimed at strengthening strategic business alliances and appreciating its valued partners, the show drew the support and participation of approximately 50 exhibitors and over 2,000 visitors who attended the event.
The highlight of the show for Dnata was the launch of its corporate travel management solution, an online booking system, the first of its kind in the market. This quick and easy to use solution provides unique tracking and reporting tools for travel policies, it tracks savings lost and allows for companies to monitor their travel spend, while allowing for an integrated solution for their expense management. The new system was showcased to travel industry delegates at Dnata Travel Services' busy stand, drawing keen interest throughout the two-day show.
Abdulla Tawakul, Vice President, Dnata Corporate Travel, said: “We had an excellent opportunity to use the platform provided by the Business Travel Show to present our corporate travel solutions to our customers.”
He added: “At this show we have also signed new accounts with customers who are very interested in the new booking tool. Providing improved cost efficiency and efficient approval workflow, this solution has been an instant hit with corporate customers, with its rich and interactive content.”
Pradeep Hawaldar, Head of MMI Travel, said: “The response from our clients to the new solution has been very positive. This cutting edge booking tool is easy to use and cost efficient – which is exactly what we were trying to achieve, to add value to our customers.”
