Teen pop sensation Britney Spears has said the big ‘Yes’ to a marriage proposal from her boyfriend, N Sync singer Justin Timberlake, Britain's News of the World newspaper reported Sunday.
The tabloid quoted a friend close to the couple as saying Timberlake proposed to the chart-topping Spears two weeks ago.
"They haven't set a date for the big day. They're just taking things very slowly," Britain’s biggest selling tabloid quoted its source as saying.
Spears, 18, has sold millions of records and conquered pop charts around the globe with her youthful energy, dancing and catchy tunes like Baby One More Time and her newest release OOPS! I Did It Again..
According to Reuters, the British media have linked the blonde-haired singer with a number of celebrities, including Britain's Crown Prince William.
Earlier this year, various tabloids reported that a special relationship had formed between Britney and Prince William after the Prince invited her to Britain—albawaba.com (various sources).
