The Dubai Duty Free (DDF) has signed an agreement with Tejari.com, the on-line business-to-business (B2B) platform, to source merchandise it sells passengers at Dubai International Airport, reported Gulf News on Sunday.
Currently ranked 12th among international airport duty frees in terms of revenues, DDF anticipates significant improvements in the management of the buy side of its supply chain by working with suppliers through Tejari.com, added the Emirati English daily.
"As DDF is committed to innovation, I am happy that it is one of the first companies to support this B2B marketplace in Dubai," Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of the Department of Civil Aviation and chairman of Emirates Group told the paper – Albawaba.com
