Cyprus President Glafcos Clerides has accepted the resignations of Justice and Public Order Minister Nikos Koshis and Chief of Police Andreas Angelides.
The President has asked Angelides to stay in office until September 29, 2002, the Cyprus News Agency said on Wednesday. Government Spokesman Michalis Papapetrou said President Clerides had accepted the resignations for the "public interest." (Albawaba.com)
