Iran's Air Force is prepared to strongly repulse foreign threats, the Commander of Iran's Air Force Brigadier Hamid-Reza Pardis said in Tehran Saturday, quoted by press reports, noting that United States threats were not new to the Iranians, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.

Pardis said that Iran's Air Force was equipped with modern and superior military technology aimed at conducting its missions, and pointed out that his staff was ready to withstand any possible foreign attacks.

He commented that Iranians and their military forces never call for an abandonment in their fight to defend the values of Islam and the Islamic Revolution, and emphasized that Iran's Air Force would resort to whatever measures required to defend the territorial integrity of the country.

Furthermore, the Iranian Air Force commander observed that Iran has expanded its military hardware capability during the past years, from a point in time when Iranian planes could merely launch a particular kind of missile. (Albawaba.com)
