ALBAWABA - Israel's Channel 12 reported that chaos erupted at Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv after the decision by workers and Israeli airlines to extend the strike.

According to Israeli media, Ben-Gurion Airport announced earlier to join the nationwide strike on Monday morning from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

KAN news revealed the strike will be expanded to the afternoon.

A major strike kicked off across Israel a day after the bodies of six hostages were found in a tunnel in Gaza's Rafah city by the Israeli army.

Israel's major Histadrut trade union leader announced yesterday: "Starting tomorrow at six in the morning, the entire Israeli economy will go on complete strike."

The Israeli army announced yesterday the retrieval of the bodies of six hostages; Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Carmel Gat, Almog Sarusi, Alexander Lobanov, and Ori Danino.

The announcement triggered massive protests led by families of hostages that erupted nationwide in Israel to protest no deal between the Israeli government and Hamas leaders. Protesters called Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to agree with Hamas to return hostages as war enters its 332th day.
