BurJuman, the residence of high fashion has announced its wide ranging entertainment program, scheduled to take place from January 1- February 2 2007, as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF).

From January 1 – February 2 2007, an international dance troupe will regale audiences daily from 6 pm to 9 pm in the mall observatory, showcasing classic moves from international Broadway musicals, in a variety of dance styles, including the cha cha, tango and salsa.
“Spectacular costumes coupled with great music and dance makes this a not-to-be-missed show that is certain to impress our shoppers,” added Khandwani.
During DSF performances by Stilt-walkers, jugglers and fire-eaters will create an ambiance of entertainment and skills across the mall .
Sports lovers can enjoy a spectacular 30-minute football tricks display, being held on January 1 and 2 at 7:30 pm and 9 pm opposite Information 1. A magnificent roaming puppet parade will be performing on January 4 and 5 at 7:30 pm, also in the same location, and on January 7 and 8, this area will play host to an extraordinary Tannoura performance, taking place from 5:00-10:00 pm.
The excitement doesn’t stop in BurJuman towards the end of January, as a variety of roaming street performers will perform a fantastic show, scheduled to take place on January 25 and 26 from 5:00-10:00 pm.
Another magnificent event is the roaming Charlie Chaplin show that will be taking place on January 22 and 23 from 5:00-10:00 pm.
On January 27 and for 3 consecutive days a variety of ‘Fringe Festival’ jugglers will be performing in BurJuman at 7:30 pm and 9 pm, opposite Information desk 1.
For the convenience of those shopping with young children, a supervised free- of- charge kids fashion and crafts workshop is going to take place daily opposite Paspaley from 5 - 9 pm. Children will be given a fashion template and the materials needed to create fantastic fashion designs.
“The workshop is an excellent opportunity for children to explore their creativity and also gives parents the chance to shop in peace while their children are well taken care of and entertained under the watchful eye of trained volunteers,” added Khandwani.
