ALBAWABA - An explosion in the premises of a police station wounded five policemen and rattled the Syrian capital Damascus on Wednesday.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said the blast took place in a police station in Barzeh, a neighborhood to the north of Damascus.

A video posted on Twitter showed an exploded vehicle inside the police premises in Barzeh, a neighborhood that houses miliary and police installations and personnel.

SANA said one police officer and four other police personnel were wounded in the explosion.
