Civil Defense Forces in Cairo have put out a fire that began Thursday morning in a building of the South Cairo court.
The fire destroyed all documents, case files and equipment on the third floor, but did not spread to other floors.
The cause of the fire, and the extent of losses, are being investigated.
Egypt's justice minister has been to the scene to inspect the damage and what may have led to the fire.
