A brother of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak died on Thursday, sources close to the president said.
Mubarak, 72, was to take part in midday prayers before attending the funeral for his brother Fawzi at a mosque in Nasr City in northern Cairo, near where the presidential palace is located, the sources said.
No details on the cause of his brother's death or his age were immediately available -- CAIRO (AFP)
