A business delegation from the UK's Shaffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be visiting Oman and the United Arab Emirates from 22nd September to 3rd October, reported the Oman Observer newspaper.

The team will be targeting small-scale businesses like training and consultancy as well as the mega industrial sectors, including oil, gas and petrochemicals, said the paper.

The delegation, representing 16 British companies, will be visiting local chambers of commerce, embassies and trade associations to explore markets for their products and services.

Head of the delegation, John Whitehouse, said in a statement that the mission is committed to the development of trading links in the Middle East, according to the paper.
