British gas company Centrica said Wednesday it was buying Avalanche Energy of Canada for 114.5 million pounds (195 million euros, 166 million dollars).
The acquisition, which has the backing of the Avalanche board, will give Centrica additional reserves to supply its growing customer base in Canada, the company said -- LONDON (AFP)
