So how does Viva Easy Highlights really work? You simply empty the highlighting powder into the developing emulsion bottle and shake it well to ensure it is mixed properly. You then empty the highlighting gel into the same bottle and shake it for 15 seconds or until it is of a thick consistency. You now have a vibrant color which is there to help you see where your highlights will appear, and this is where the magic begins……
Empty the colored formula into the sides of the Guide and Glide comb, select a section of the hair you want to highlight, place the tip of the comb near the roots of the hair, and with one single continuous movement, stroke the comb down to the tips of the hair. Once done, refill the sides of the comb and apply elsewhere. If you think you applied too much of the formula to the hair, or if you do not like the distance between the highlights, simply wipe the formula off your hair with a piece of tissue, and re-apply as you please.
