Rockets struck Turkey's southern coastal resort town of Antalya Friday, The Independent reported.

Turkish news agency Dogan said no casualties have been reported so far following the incident, adding that two missiles were fired from the mountainous area between Antalya and Kemer.

Turkey's Hurriyet newspaper said three rockets were fired, suggesting they may have targeted a tanker not far from the fishing shop that was struck.

Authorities are investigating the attack, while ambulances and special forces police were dispatched to the area.

While the motive for the attack is unknown, Turkey has been hit by numerous attacks by Daesh and Kurdish militants over the last year.
