At least 38 people were killed and another 39 injured after two gunmen attacked a beach hotel in the Tunisian city of Sousse, Reuters reported Friday.
An interior ministry official said the gunmen opened fire on a beach front near two hotels, killing at least 27.
Sousse is one of the most popular beach resorts for the country, attracting many tourists every year.
Tunisia has heightened security since the attack on Bardo museum killed 20 tourists in March.
