The body of an Iraqi national who is believed to have drowned washed ashore in Dora on Tuesday, the Daily Star reported.
The Lebanese paper said that, the civil defense personnel removed the body of Ahmad Sudani, 26, when he was spotted by passers-by on the beach facing the Gemayel port in Dora.
Coroner Sarkis Abi Aql, who examined the body, estimated the death to have taken place six hours earlier.
A security source was quoted by the daily as saying that Sudani was wearing a life jacket, buttressing the theory that he threw himself off a vessel -- Albawaba.com
