bmi holds press conference to announce new services in jordan

Pioneering aviation company, bmi, which is the second largest airline operating out of London’s Heathrow Airport, announced the start of its operations in Jordan during a press conference on the 13th of November.   The company will be offering a range of the latest, most exclusive services to its clients.

The conference was held at the Marriot and attended by Mr. Max Hunt, Sales and Marketing Manager at bmi International; Mr. Naji Mahdi, Regional Manager for bmi Jordan, Syria and Lebanon; Mr. Sa’ad Jaber, Marketing Manager for the bmi group in Jordan and a number of VIPs and representatives of the press and media.

bmi, which is the only British carrier in Jordan, continues its efforts to make its mark on the aviation field in the kingdom. It does so by meeting the demands of the local market and catering to the growing needs of its customers by placing the highest priority on the comfort of its passengers.

bmi announced the launch of its new and improved inflight services after the successful completion of its first flight from Jordan to the United Kingdom at the end of last month.  A number of regular daily flights will be operated between both countries on a scheduled flight basis.

During the course of the conference Mr. Max Hun, Sales and Marketing Manager for bmi International, said, “bmi is basically working continuously to improve all its services to help develop the airline industry in Jordan.  We are working towards taking the airline industry from the limited scope in which it currently operates to a much wider market in order to fully exploit its potential and significantly improve quality standards.”  He added that, “ As part of the importance we place on the comfort and satisfaction of our valued passengers and in order to increase their trust in us, we have worked hard to upgrade our inflight entertainment and improve all our services as well as introducing new entertainment technology and customer reward programs.”

It is worth noting that bmi launched its operations in Jordan after buying out BMED.  The company operates around 170 daily flights to and from its headquarters in Heathrow.
