Iranians birthrate has declined in the first half of the year (started March 20) indicating a 4.56 percent compared to the same period last year, Iran's official news agency (IRNA) reported Sunday.
Quoting the Personal Status Registration Organization as saying "the number of deaths stood at 104,209 in the first half of the year, registering a 5.72 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
The report added that marriage and divorce numbered 306,800 and 25,806 in the first half of this year, showing a 5.71 percent and 6.72 percent increase, respectively, compared to the same period in the previous year -- Albawaba.com
