ALBAWABA - US President Joe Biden has advocated for a new phase in the Middle East war that would focus on securely returning hostages home and putting a stop to it. Speaking at the same time that Israel unveiled a comprehensive ceasefire plan for Gaza that calls for the release of all captives, Biden made these statements.

Biden emphasized the Israeli proposal's emphasis on enabling the repatriation of Palestinians living in Gaza to their homes, characterizing it as a three-phase road plan.

The plan, which was sent to Hamas by Qatar, also highlights the second stage's exchange of all detainees who are still alive, including Israeli troops. The third stage also includes a comprehensive strategy for Gaza Strip rebuilding.

With this suggestion, Israel hopes to deter such assaults in the future, which emphasizes how crucial it is to bring about long-lasting peace in the area. Underlining the new agreement's potential to reintegrate Israel into the region and open the door for historic rapprochement with Saudi Arabia, Biden encouraged the Israeli leadership to support it.

Concerns have been raised, meanwhile, regarding the effects on Israel's reputation abroad, with some predicting more isolation. However, supporters contend that the deal would promote Israeli peace in addition to ensuring the release of captives.

To further demonstrate its commitment to regional stability, the US has promised to help find a solution to the situation along the Lebanese border.
